Taking as his own the words of Marguerite Yourcenar in her work Memoirs of Hadrian (Mémoires d'Hadrien), "My first homelands were books. And, to a lesser degree, schools", he understood from a very young age that he would find the creativity to design through study and interaction with master woodworkers in the primitive workshops of the 1960s. A life dedicated to the design of the everyday, through his non-conformist eyes.
